Join writer, former CEO, lawyer, and restauranteur Sylvia Lovely in an interactive writing workshop!
How better to celebrate Lexington’s 250th anniversary than recalling and recording your favorite Lexington stories? Sylvia Lovely will provide prompts & guidance to help you dig out those memories & turn them into the stories of celebration.
A former CEO, a lawyer by profession and a restauranteur, Sylvia turned to teaching her signature class, “Writing and Sharing the Stories of Your Life,” an interactive workshop where participants write and share their stories. She teaches in a variety of settings including for a number of years at the Carnegie Center for Literacy and Learning. Her latest venture is a book and podcast entitled, “My Family Tree Food & Stories” where she and her partner, Nancy May, explore the intersection of the universal language of food and family traditions. She is also an author with three other books. She is often referred to as the Chief Inspirer and Encourager of her students to release the power of storytelling to change their lives.
