Northside Branch
Large Meeting RoomGet out of your cooking comfort zone in Bite Club: A Cookbook Club for Food Lovers. A new theme or cuisine will be represented by an array of cookbooks each meeting.
September is Hispanic Heritage Month, therefore we'll be celebrating with the Latin American Edition of Bite Club! Traditional Latin American cuisine is a vibrant, diverse tapestry of flavors rooted in indigenous, African, and European influences. Iconic staples such as maize-based corn cakes, hearty stews, and plantain preparations define the regional diets across Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. Members can choose a recipe from one of the cookbooks provided or use their own cookbook/recipe to contribute a dish. If it's your first time, you can simply come to taste, discuss, and enjoy.
