This program is part of Art Beat, a weeklong celebration of the arts in Lexington.
The Senior Writing Workshop with Carnegie Center will help improve your writing skills in a friendly setting. Participants can share their experiences and develop their unique voices. Instructors will guide you through writing exercises, peer reviews, and group discussions for feedback and support. The workshop also helps connect with other writers and learn from Carnegie's instructor about writing and publishing. Overall, it encourages creativity and provides a rewarding experience for those wanting to write their stories.
Feel the pulse of creativity by joining us at Lexington Public Library for a week-long celebration of artistic expression filled with workshops, demonstrations, and performances tailored to a wide range of age groups and interests. Each day we will celebrate a different art form, including written and spoken word, drama, dance, visual arts, and music.
