Part Two of a three-part series marking the sixtieth anniversary of Christian Appalachian Project.
According to Feeding America, one in six children in Kentucky faces hunger. That food insecurity rate is higher than the national average. In the Appalachian region, things are even worse with one in five children struggling with food insecurity. The situation is even more dire In CAP's service area in Eastern Kentucky where one in four children is hungry. This short film spotlights advocates seeking to address food insecurity on a large scale as well as locally in states and communities, and the ways Christian Appalachian Project has responded to this critical issue.
