Black History Month Matinee
The Wiz is the 1978 film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical that reimagines The Wonderful Wizard of Oz with an African American cast. Starring Diana Ross as Dorothy, Michael Jackson as the Scarecrow, Nipsey Russell as the Tin Man, and Ted Ross as the Cowardly Lion.
For Black History Month, come to the Central Library's Farish Theater each Tuesday and Thursday for a matinee.
