Sistah LaLa (La'Shelle Allen) is a classically trained singer who has been sharing her gifts with the world for over three decades. Now based in Berea, Kentucky, she is blessed with an incredible voice, and has performed with opera companies across America including the MET and Cincinnati Opera. As an artist, she has devoted much of her career to re-introduce the importance of the the American Negro Spiritual to the 21st century through her Spirituals in Motion project.
