Teens and tweens are welcome to join Northside's monthly STEM club. We're celebrating Black History Month and Henrietta Lacks by learning to extract DNA from strawberries. Registration recommended.
First, we'll learn about Henrietta Lacks and the ways in which she contributed to modern medical research. Then we'll do some research ourselves using chemistry and biology to extract DNA from strawberries! Dress for mess! Ages 12+
