This program is part of Art Beat, a weeklong celebration of the arts in Lexington.
As part of the Central Kentucky Concert Band's celebration of its first fifty years, a saxophone trio, composed of CKCB members, will present an hour-long program at the Marksbury Family Branch Library at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2026. The ensemble has a large repertoire of classical and traditional tunes, most of which were custom-arranged or composed specifically for this trio. Over the years, the trio has performed at many colleges, universities, schools, churches, and senior residences. The members of the trio are David Eirich, Lee Patrick, and Charlie Kahn.
Feel the pulse of creativity by joining us at Lexington Public Library for a week-long celebration of artistic expression, featuring workshops, demonstrations, and performances tailored for a wide range of age groups and interests. Each day we will celebrate a different art form, including written and spoken word, drama, dance, visual arts, and music.
