Enjoy a Sunday matinee of a classic movie.

Based on the 2019 bestselling novel by Colson Whitehead, Nickel Boys follows two African-American boys, Elwood and Turner, who are sent to an abusive reform school in 1960s Florida.

Elwood Curtis' college dreams are shattered when he's sentenced to Nickel Academy, a brutal reformatory in the Jim Crow South. Clinging to his optimistic worldview, Elwood strikes up a friendship with Turner, a fellow Black teen who dispenses fundamental tips for survival.

Stars Ethan Herisse, Brandon Wilson, Hamish Linklater, Fred Hechinger, Daveed Diggs, Jimmie Fails, and Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor.
