This one hour course will introduce you to the what, why, and how of grants. The recommended audience for this program is someone interested in learning about grant writing or someone working in the nonprofit sector who is looking to see if grants could be a good fit for your program/project.
Participants may also be interested in Grant Writing Basics, to be held Wed. April 2.
Edwyn Rye is a graduate of Transylvania University and a long-time resident of Central Kentucky. Edwyn has worked most recently with United Way of the Bluegrass on several grant applications with awards totaling over $250K. He is a current advisory board member of the Bluegrass Community Foundation’s BGCF365 initiative and collaborates with a grant collective, where he specializes in budgets, budget narratives, and editing. Edwyn also operates a local grant assistance program dedicated to improving the quantity and quality of grant writing for community-focused nonprofits.
