In this workshop ideal for Grades K-5, we'll explore music, movement and storytelling - giving you a glimpse of our "CORE" Classes in the Artist Development Program.? Sing, dance, act and explore the magic of musical theatre.? The Lexington Theatre Company is Central Kentucky's premiere professional regional theatre.? Offerings include Mainstage Productions featuring Broadway veterans, rising stars and local professionals; a robust Education department?(the Artist Development Program) which provides classes in music, theatre and dance to students ages 3 through adults 55+; an outstanding Outreach program partnering with numerous schools and organizations across the Bluegrass to share the power and magic of musical theatre.? The Lexington Theatre Company believes that "Musicals Make Life Better" and provides numerous opportunities for artists from across the region and across the country to have a space to play, create and enjoy masterful storytelling. 

Feel the pulse of creativity by joining us at Lexington Public Library for a week-long celebration of artistic expression filled with workshops, demonstrations, and performances tailored to a wide range of age groups and interests. Each day we will celebrate a different art form, including written and spoken word, drama, dance, visual arts, and music.
