'Somos Heroes' is an animation workshop focused on teaching Spanish-speaking and bilingual teens the basics of animation, character design, and story telling. Registration required.
The 'Somos Heroes' program is a 5-week workshop focused on teaching youth, especially Spanish-speaking students, the basics of digital drawing, character design, and animation using, industry standards like Adobe Fresco. Participants, led by animator and game developer Rafael Estrada, will create their own superheroes, develop a short animated film, and showcase their work publicly, all while exploring themes of leadership and community.
