University of Kentucky Healthcare will soon accept applications for its competitive Pharmacy Technician training program. Attend this session to learn more!
The University of Kentucky's Pharmacy Technician Academy offers a 16-week hands-on and instructor-guided program designed to prepare applicants for the National Pharmacy Technician Certification exam. Selected participants will learn while getting paid as an employee of UK Healthcare.
This program restarts in late Summer 2024 and is available for any high school graduate or GED, 18 years and older, looking for a full-time work commitment. Applicants are required to get vaccines, including the Covid vaccine and an annual Flu vaccine.
For selected participants, the cost of the program and certification exam will be paid by UK Pharmacy Services. Participants are only required to pay $25 for registration with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy within thirty (30) days of hire.
